"Carried." 2025
"Sa Pa, Vietnam. In the mountainous area around Sa Pa, a child belonging to a small local ethnic minority is carried on an adult’s back. These communities live in remote villages, often marked by isolation and persistent poverty, where movement, work, and care are inseparable parts of daily life. The photograph does not seek to explain or emphasize hardship, but to observe a shared condition: closeness as necessity, continuity, and quiet resilience within an everyday passage."

"In Place." 2025
"Beijing, China. In a narrow alley near the center of Beijing, a woman stands outside her home. The space is shaped by familiarity and daily use, carrying traces of an older residential fabric within a city undergoing constant transformation. Her presence anchors the scene, where everyday life continues quietly within a broader landscape of change."

"My name is Paolo Scotto di Vettimo, a 23-year-old photographer based in Naples, Italy. My work explores everyday life and urban environments through a clear, honest visual language, across both personal and commissioned projects."
"Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. A fleeting pause inside a convenience store, seen through layered reflections. An ordinary choice unfolds as a moment of quiet introspection within the urban flow."

"Sora." 2025
"After my second year at photography school in 2013, I immediately became a freelance photographer. Following several diverse photo assignments, I increasingly wanted to explore the areas that most fascinated me. In my opinion, and with my keen eye, wildlife, sports, and landscape photography offer many unpredictable and extraordinary subjects to photograph."
"What catches my eye may seem trivial to some, but for me, it's what captures those fleeting moments of the world's beauty."

"Shared Solitude." 2025
"I am a weekend street photographer based in Singapore, focused on documenting the intersections of modernity, tradition, and human connection across Southeast and East Asia. My work captures the unscripted vitality and quiet humanity of transient public spaces, blending candid observation with a strong sense of place. Guided by the philosophy that deep observation is essential to understanding human experience, I seek moments that convey shared solitude and the profound resilience embedded in the rhythms of daily life."

"Japan Mist." 2025
"I use my camera to capture details, patterns, and moods. I pay attention to the here and now - where I am, what I notice, how I feel. I want my photographs to show details and moments that may go unnoticed, inviting viewers to slow down and look closely to see patterns, shapes, shadows, and light. Whether close to home or while traveling, having a camera with me seems to heighten my awareness of the present and my appreciation of place, history, and everyday life."

"Kyoto Tower Nostalgia." 2025
"I am a long-time Asiaphile. I am captivated by the visuals, whether romanticised or authentic - towers, bridges, gates, blossoms, haze, calligraphy, and more. I respond to the evocative sounds of the zither and connect with the cultural symbols and signs within their context. For many years, I tried to capture the ever-fading romantic notion I held of Asia - my own Western prejudiced vocabulary, whether accurate or fanciful. But as I traveled more in the 21st century, I began to accept inevitable changes and the desire for modernity, embracing the modernisation Asia strives for. From 13th-century architecture to towering modern high-rises, I cherish and revere it all."

"The Heart of Understanding." 2025
Ian Mangaoang is a self-taught Filipino photographer whose work is rooted in the landscapes and mountain cultures of Northern Luzon. Growing up surrounded by trails, camps, and endless ridgelines, he developed a deep connection with nature that later evolved into a visual practice grounded in film photography. His work has been exhibited at institutions including the Vargas Museum and Bencab Museum, and in 2025 he co-organized B:Show!, now recognized as the largest analog and alternative print photography exhibition in the Philippines.
"My work is driven by a desire to slow down and listen to the stories held within landscapes. Growing up close to the mountains, I learned early on that nature keeps quiet records of weather, memory, footsteps, and time, and film became the medium that allowed me to translate that subtle world into images. I’m drawn to places where presence meets silence, where the land reveals both its resilience and fragility. Through a contemplative approach to light, atmosphere, and texture, I aim to create photographs that serve as traces of lived experience, evidence not just of place, but of the emotional and spiritual weight it carries."

"I am a photographer based in Amman, Jordan, documenting my travels with a Fujifilm x100VI. My background in hiking allows me to capture landscapes and perspectives accessible only on foot. Archived under zeinat.jpeg, my portfolio serves as a visual diary of these terrains, street scenes, and the quiet moments in between."
"My work explores the unique perspectives only accessible on foot. I seek the subtle textures and quiet details that shape a landscape, from the grit of the desert to the haze of a morning climb. For me, photography is a way to preserve the feeling of being in a place, free from the distractions of everyday life."

"Twilight Beacon." 2023
"This photograph captures Tokyo Tower at dusk, set against the city’s illuminated skyline. The tower, painted in its iconic orange-white color scheme for aviation safety, stands as a focal point amid the dense cluster of skyscrapers, with the distant bay adding depth to the scene. The twilight blue sky transitions into the warm artificial lights of the metropolis, framing the tower as both a functional communication structure and a cultural symbol of Tokyo’s modern identity."

"Tokyo’s Frame." 2023
"This photograph captures a view framed by an architectural opening, showcasing Tokyo’s Senso-ji Temple (the five-story pagoda and main hall) nestled amid modern high-rises. The composition contrasts traditional Japanese wooden architecture, with its tiered roofs and gilded details, symbols of Edo-period cultural heritage, against sleek contemporary buildings, embodying Tokyo’s identity as a city where history coexists with rapid urbanization. The crowded approach to the temple (Nakamise Street area) visible below adds layers of daily life, merging sacred space, tourism, and urban residency in a single frame."

"Wander in the Wrinkle of Deep Blue." 2023
"This is an underwater ecological photograph captured from a submerged perspective. The frame is anchored by layers of interwoven deep and light blue water, where the wrinkled surface, like flowing glass, splits light into soft, fragmented patches. Silhouetted fish weave through this space, their body lines echoing the curves of the water ripples. The work not only conveys the quiet texture of the natural environment but also embodies the subtle tension of life moving through dim, enclosed spaces. Scenes like this typically exist in shallow freshwater or coastal marine habitats. The school of fish swimming in formation is both a display of survival instinct and a rhythmic element of underwater ecosystems, where light, water movement, and the dynamism of life converge to create a fusion of visual and atmospheric harmony."

"Workmen at Rest." 2024
"As a photographer living in Chongqing, China, I have had the opportunity to see the urban landscape change tremendously in the past 10 years. From my home in the United States to Europe and now Asia, what I bring to photography is the ability to tell a story through my lens. My primary focus is street, portrait, and documentary style photography, but I love to try new things and experiment with composition and shadow. The photographs I take are my attempt to capture the world and learn more about myself as an artist. I aim to photograph what moves me and show the world."

"Little Hindu." 2019
"Spirituality permeates everyday life in Bali. Pervasive. Timeless. Throughout the year, young and old pray in countless temples, from magnificent sanctuaries to humble shrines. People celebrate life and the day. Away from the tourist crowds, in a maze of side streets, lies a walled temple complex. Inside, worshippers sit shoulder to shoulder. All look in the same direction, as if expecting something. But in the middle of the crowd stands a small Hindu man, facing the opposite way. Where no one else is looking. He seems to be waiting for nothing. It is as if he sees something I cannot. Where is he looking? Into the past, perhaps. Or into our future. Or is he simply waiting for his mother?"

"Smoke Break." 2025
Andrew Horvath is a traveling photographer with a deep interest in culture, movement, and lived experience. After visiting more than 50 countries, he uses photography as a way to slow down, observe, and document how people inhabit space. His work often centers on environments beyond tourist narratives, where routine, resilience, and identity quietly unfold.
"This work focuses on life at the edges of major cities, where the noise of urban centers fades and daily life takes on a quieter rhythm. I am drawn to places that exist between rural and urban, where people live without spectacle and moments unfold without performance. Through these images, I aim to show life as it is lived, capturing individuals within their environments in a way that feels honest, unguarded, and grounded in place."

"Untitled." 2024
"I am an emerging photographer based in Bucharest, working mostly with analogue processes. My practice moves between observations of everyday life - including incidental, sometimes humorous encounters with people - and contemplative studies of remote landscapes. I am drawn to moments that frequently pass unnoticed and sometimes hold a quiet story I have lived myself. I am interested in how individuals and environments shape one another, as well as in transience and material memory. Natural light, color, texture, and weather play a central role in shaping the atmosphere of my images. In my recent works, I have expanded my practice into mixed media, incorporating materials collected from the places I photograph and blurring the boundary between image and physical presence."
