"Golden." 2024
João Lutz is a Brazilian photographer and filmmaker based in New York City. With a background in documentary and commercial work, his photography blends quiet intimacy and bold presence, exploring identity, transformation, and the nuanced dynamics of human connection.
"My work is deeply rooted in the emotional atmosphere of a moment, how it feels rather than how it looks. I use color not only to define the visual tone of a photograph, but as a narrative force, guiding the viewer through layers of tension, tenderness, and memory. Each image aims to hold space for contemplation and presence, capturing a subject's silence as loudly as their voice."

"Baptism III." 2025
"Using Mary as a symbol of passive obedience, the color blue references the Mother and brain scans with depression, questioning her free will under God. Mindless repetition in beading to create opulence accounted for individual and communal bodily decay, mirroring the notion of divine suffering under blind faith for the benefit of a ruler. A self-deprecating mantra composed of ten letters references the decades of the rosary in faith through parroting. Finally, the Baptism in the ocean represents the indoctrination into capitalist authoritarianism at the expense of the self."

"The Veil references the artists’ joint feelings of disdain for the unbreakable ties to their involuntary indoctrination into the Catholic Church and authoritarian parallels shared under capitalism. The artists use symbols of the Virgin Mary, her veil, and the rosary to create a veil that emphasizes the battle with the Inner Critic, mental and physical bodily decay, and free will under faith."

"Baptism." 2025
Lish Atchison-Roeder and Kristine Dalbey are collaborative fiber artists who create intricate veils that discuss the difficulties in social settings for those with neurodivergence and mental illness and how it affects one’s sense of self. With careful attention to repetition and handiwork, as each piece takes 20+ hours to create, the artists’ bodies cramp through execution. This auto-piloted act of making mirrors Atchison-Roeder and Dalbey’s relationship with their toxic and demanding inner critic, and their inability to dismiss it.
Motifs and color palettes are jointly selected through conversations on debilitating mental health and the struggles of neurodivergence in a capitalistic society. Atchison-Roeder and Dalbey combine the act of physically making with these motifs and color palettes to discuss the decay of the individual in societies where “success” is deemed by financial gain over mental and physical well-being.

Jonathan Lei
Price: £50
"Fly before Sunrise." 2025
Jonathan Lei, a 24-year-old Chinese photography artist currently based in the UK, is renowned for his ability to seamlessly integrate documentary techniques with visual storytelling.
His work excels in capturing the nuanced emotions embedded within everyday scenes and portraying diverse natural landscapes encountered during his travels. Through his exploration of various cities and regions, Jonathan employs his keen observational skills and sensitive emotional expression to highlight moments and scenes that are often overlooked in today's fast-paced lifestyle. He asserts that photography transcends mere information presentation; it serves as a medium to evoke profound emotions in the audience, transforming them into cherished memories.
"As a professional photography artist, I am captivated by the subtle moments in people's lives that are often overlooked and the profound emotions underlying them. These moments may appear small but carry immense significance. My work primarily revolves around two domains: the intricate emotional nuances embedded in everyday life scenes and the tranquil, remote landscapes that stand in stark contrast to the urban pace. Both themes reflect my central interest in exploring how individuals' identities, cultures, and emotions interplay with their surrounding environments. I was born in China and currently reside temporarily in the United Kingdom. Through photography, I delve into local cultures and uncover the nuanced humanistic narratives of various regions. In my street photography, I capture fleeting yet intense emotional moments: couples exchanging kisses under the spring sun, lovers embracing and bidding farewell at deserted subway stations, and teenagers sprinting with flags during sports events. In my landscape photography, I emphasize the harmonious integration of humanity and nature, as well as the transcendent grandeur of natural vistas. For my practice, I utilize medium-format digital cameras and mobile phones. Simplifying my equipment allows me to concentrate more on storytelling. Ultimately, my aspiration is to transcend the passage of time through frozen images, enabling viewers from any era to experience a profound resonance upon encountering my photographs."

Helga Bahmer
Price: £250
"Flakes on Track." 2025
Helga Bahmer lives and works in Hamburg. She studied Art Photography at Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz and later specialized in Documentary Film at the Academy of Media Arts Cologne.
Her work explores the intersections of identity, urban planning, and architecture.
Through a poetic-documentary staging of the self, she examines the interactions between individuals and their surroundings.
At the core of her practice is the question: How do places and politics shape people? Her works blend personal reflection with social analysis, inviting viewers to engage with urban structures and their impact on identity.
"Through my photography, I explore the use of colour in urban planning and architecture. What can be achieved through the use of colour? How can colours in residential buildings make people feel safe and at home? How can people enhance the impact of colour in their surroundings? What interactions or interferences are there between colour and residents? I experiment with graphic elements and ironic descriptions."

"Feel free, that's She." 2025
"I especially love photographing people. I want to create photos that reflect expression, life, character, naturalness, individuality, and creativity. I want to take people into the world of photo art in my own way, tailored to them. I have been taking photographs since 2007. I was in the world of wedding photography until 2016, but after my break to raise children, I won’t be doing it on such a large scale anymore. I am a photographer for business, events, and families. My great love is and remains portrait photography and the ability to express myself through the art of photography."
"To portray a face in such a way that you tell a story through photography... that’s what I want. If you look closely at such images, you can also "hear" the stories. I have built a small library of stories and narratives from people with fascinating, joyful, but also difficult stories that have shaped my life. I’ve learned so much and I won’t stop. I’m very grateful for that and also for the trust the people in front of the camera have in me behind the camera."

"Constructed Reverie." 2025
"This image explores the profound significance of color as a conduit for emotion, perception, and psychological depth within the photographic medium. The striking contrast between the surreal crimson of the natural elements and the cold, skeletal geometry of the unfinished structure speaks to the duality of organic life and human intervention. Through a deliberate manipulation of the color palette, the familiar becomes alien; trees bleed vibrancy, grass glows unnaturally, and what might otherwise be perceived as decay or abandonment transforms into something otherworldly and introspective."

"Morgestraich." 2024
"My second image represents Morgestraich, the beginning of carnival on a winter Monday in the city of Basel. At 4 a.m. all lights are turned off and the lanterns are glowing in the dark. Magic is back, it feels like being in the Middle Ages. The atmosphere is almost mystical. People dressed in costumes and wearing masks roam the streets holding lanterns, playing the fife and the drums. This chaotic procession goes on until dawn or when it is time for a warm glass of spiced wine. As a child I was told I was too small to attend, although my family was involved in the festivities. Today this yearly colourful ritual has become mine too. A childhood dream has come true."

"I was wandering about London’s Southbank when I saw this beautiful merry-go-round. It inspired me for long exposure photographs. Remembering how it turned and turned when I hopped on as a child. Transmitting the movement was my aim. Letting what is seen disappear like magic. Colours changing, my head spinning as it turned faster and faster. Did this journey take me into a fairytale?"

Michael Eckart
Price: Upon request.
"Sisters." 2017
Michael Eckart has spent significant time in Japan, Bali, and other parts of Asia, but Venice now feels like home.
From a young age, he aspired to be a photographer or designer,
always drawn to creativity.
However, these passions did not take center stage in his career until much later.
In the 1960s, he began designing window displays and creating objects for visual merchandising.
During this time, MoMA requested some of his designs for an exhibition on contemporary design in New York. By the late 1980s, the scale of his creations changed as he transitioned into jewelry design, working with materials such as buffalo horn, bone, and especially sterling silver.
From 2004 to 2006, he exhibited his jewelry in Paris, where he was
awarded the Étoiles de Mode for Best Design three consecutive times.
His jewelry gained widespread recognition, with features in
prestigious publications such as Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, Elle, and others.
In 2016, his son gifted him an old camera, reigniting his passion for photography.
In 2024, he entered his first photography competition and achieved success.
"At Galle Face Green, Colombo’s popular seaside promenade, the sky is transformed into a floating work of art every year. Thousands of visitors flock here to experience the Kite Festival, one of Sri Lanka’s most vibrant and colourful celebrations. The festival is not only a cultural highlight but also a symbol of joy, freedom, community, and family. Local participants often embrace the kaleidoscopic spectacle by dressing in bold, bright outfits. Many wear eye-catching colours, as if competing with the sky for the most dazzling hues. Amidst the hustle and bustle, I noticed a pair of sisters: two girls in matching plaid dresses, a playful sartorial statement. The younger one reached into her older sister’s rucksack as if it belonged to both of them. Not a word is exchanged, it is simply understood. One rucksack, one family, one shared celebration."

"Can’t Stop the World." 2025
"Photography has been my passion since early childhood. My motivation is to discover and capture the beauty, even when it is not always readily self-evident, that surrounds us continuously in all areas of our everyday lives. I believe the finest images are those that are serious yet playful, aesthetically appealing yet a bit quirky. As both an artist and an admirer, my favorite photographs tend to be ones whose contents speak loudly for themselves even when it is not immediately clear exactly what they are saying. They seek to inspire their viewers to wrestle with their intriguing contents and, as a result, ponder various aspects of our surrounding world in new and unique ways."

Karen Safer
Price: £630
"Heat & Ice." 2023
Karen Safer, a native Angeleno, is an internationally exhibited, award-winning photographic artist and poet. Given a camera and crayons at the age of three, she was immersed in California’s visual language from an early age. A lifelong traveler, she has explored over 230 countries and territories, embracing both the exotic and the unexpected. Influenced by her father’s black-and-white photography and her mother’s insatiable curiosity for knowledge and travel, her inspirations range from ancient Assyria to the conceptual works of Cindy Sherman.
She began as a painter before discovering photography in college, earning a master’s degree in art and building a career in design and architecture. With 14 solo exhibitions and participation in over 500 shows, she has received more than 450 awards, including the Julia Margaret Cameron Award, PISPA, TIFA, reFocus, and Exposure One. Her work has been featured in 130+ publications, such as LENS, ArtTalk, ArtTour, and Spotlight.
She has exhibited in major cities worldwide, including London, Paris, Rome, Berlin, Venice, Florence, Barcelona, Budapest, Dubai, São Paulo, Seoul, Tokyo, Zurich, New York, and Los Angeles. Her work is held in numerous collections and organisations. A self-described "romantic old soul" with an intellectual hunger, she navigates the digital world while remaining deeply connected to art’s timeless essence.
"The image is from my series called "HEAT & ICE" comprised of about 15 images. At the time, I was exploring the relationship between hot and cool colors and was drawn to a sheet hanging loosely in an open space where light poured in through a high window. The shadows added dramatic effect to the scene. I had a marvellous time dancing around the subject and shot numerous images from different vantage points, composing various views and angles. In my studio, I digitally reworked the images on the computer to enhance and embellish the warm tones and recede the cool hues as contrast. I later added words as overlay corresponding to various moods for about 5 of the images."

"Take Your Meds." 2023
"Fujifilmgirl is a visual love letter to food, culture, and storytelling through photography. As a multidisciplinary artist and founder of this brand, I use the camera as both a creative and communal tool, one that captures more than flavor; it captures feeling. Rooted in a background of fine art and commercial photography, Fujifilmgirl bridges the gap between aesthetics and strategy. My work is driven by bold color, layered textures, and intentional composition, transforming everyday ingredients into vibrant, visual narratives. Each image is crafted to celebrate not only the food itself, but the hands, histories, and cultures behind it."
A surreal slice of watermelon sits at the center of a pastel green background. Its bright red flesh, often symbolic of summer sweetness and joy, is speckled not with seeds, but with evenly spaced blue pills. A few more pills lie scattered outside the fruit, like forgotten thoughts or doses yet to be taken. The visual juxtaposition is jarring, deliberate. It challenges the viewer to confront the blurred boundary between natural nourishment and medicinal necessity.
This image becomes a quiet metaphor for mental health: how something as routine and life-giving as eating must sometimes be paired with the equally vital act of taking medication. The blue pills, mimicking seeds of growth, speak to the often invisible work of healing, of nurturing the mind as we do the body. Their placement within the fruit suggests normalization, integration, and acceptance: that mental wellness and the tools we use to maintain it should be as natural and unashamed as a slice of fruit.
The piece dares to destigmatize. It invites reflection on how we perceive treatment. How mental health, like physical health, requires tending, discipline, and compassion. The watermelon becomes not just a fruit, but a symbol of wholeness interrupted, then restored, one blue dot at a time.

"Florentina en Ausangate, Peru." 2024
"The photographs are deeply rooted in the cultures of the people portrayed. Some were taken in Peru, a land bursting with color. From the breathtaking Rainbow Mountain to traditional clothing, Peru embodies vibrancy, kindness, and authenticity. The other photographs were taken in my beloved Mexico. They feature Los Voladores de Papantla, also known as The Birds of the Earth. The Voladores de Papantla ceremony is a ritual that dates back to 1300 A.D. Through my lens, I hope to share the worldview of this ancient culture and the spiritual depth of their ceremonial flight. This iconic tradition of the Totonac people has been recognized as Intangible Cultural Heritage by UNESCO."

"End of the ritual, descending." 2025
"My name is Fernanda, I’m 32 years old, and I’m from Puebla, Mexico. I consider myself an amateur photographer and a passionate admirer of light and shadow. A few years ago, I discovered my passion for photography in a completely unexpected way. The first time I held a camera, I knew I had found it. It was silence. It was expression. It was the moment of truth I had been searching for. I realized that even as a child, I had been capturing the world and its people through my eyes, creating my own universe through those mental images. Now, I have the chance to share Fernanda’s world with others. To share what Fernanda sees. Photography has revealed to me the extraordinary beauty within ordinary people. There is an unusual depth to that beauty, it often shows itself in a conversation, in someone’s gaze, or in the way light gives shape to a soul. My intention is to share this rare beauty that emerges through light and through the human spirit."

"Threads of Memory." 2025
Sneha Sirivara is a photographer and storyteller drawn to small, meaningful moments. A mother to a curious toddler, I see the world through fresh eyes; noticing quiet details, emotions, and everyday magic. My work seeks to freeze fleeting memories and preserve the emotions we’d want to look back on in the story of our lives.
"These sarees hold more than fabric and color, they hold memories. Each one reminds me of a moment, an occasion, a person, a story. Worn for weddings, festivals, and quiet days at home, they have carried laughter, love, and time itself. This photograph captures not just the folds of cloth, but the small personal histories woven into them. A reminder that what we wear sometimes remembers us more than we remember ourselves."
