A VIRTUAL EXHIBITION
Red appears for a moment, sometimes quietly and sometimes with certainty. It rests against old brick, catches the evening light, passes through a crowded street, or sits alone within an otherwise muted scene. It draws the eye without asking to be noticed, giving fleeting moments a presence of their own.
Perhaps that is what makes red so compelling to photograph. It can belong to a place without being defined by it, changing with every surface, shadow and setting. A colour encountered by chance becomes, for a moment, the detail that remains.
