"St Ives 302." 2020
Lewis’s work acts as a conduit between the realms of Art and science. The supply of information from science fuels the production of visual material, which communicates the knowledge of a scientific endeavour. In short, Lewis’s work focuses on dealing with complex thoughts, ideas and facts within nature and science. Some explore those in which we seem to be overshadowed and overpowered in comparison by the vast distances, size or quantities. Others investigate moments of extreme power, creation and rebirth on a molecular scale or on a scale comparable to that of the universe. Questioning our relationships, place and role within the universe, environment and natural spaces. Inspired by "theories of the sublime" written by Edmund Burke, the oceanic sublime series aims to document the moments when nature displays great power and dominance. Giant waves, vast sea storms, and chaotic breaks can all lead to emotions similar to those of the sublime.
"The passion caused by the great and the sublime in nature, when those causes operate most powerfully, is Astonishment; and astonishment is that state of the soul, in which all its motions are suspended, with some degree of horror." - Edmund Burke, "A Philosophical Enquiry…", 1757.

Dajana Knieling
Price: £169
"The Wind in the Reeds." 2023
"My name is Dajana Knieling. I was born in Germany in 1976. My parents and I migrated to Australia in 1987, and I returned to Germany in 1994. I grew up close to nature and spent my childhood roaming the woods and streams and playing by the lake while my dad would fish and my mum read a book. To this day, nature is where I feel most at home, most myself, and I love to feel the elements: fire, water, wind, and earth. I try to capture and transport this love for nature, the Earth and its beauty in my photographs. The Earth, nature never cease to captivate, amaze, and humble me and I hope to express this fascination in my photographs."

"Anatomy of the Atmosphere, Sonoran Desert." 2023
"I am a multimedia artist living and working in Los Angeles and San Francisco, California. Through my abstract artwork, I explore the unseen but deeply felt realms of existence. Intimately, I am moved by emotions that arise from experiencing beauty, wonder, mystery, awe, and the sublime. On a global scale, I make art about intolerable emotions that I feel in response to the formations that arise from collective agreements. As a nomadic artist, I travel the world to explore and connect with the daemons (spirits) of places to learn about their experiences during the Anthropocene. I start my creative process in a contemplative state that leads to an idea. Then, I select the appropriate form or media for that idea. I often cross media boundaries, invent new methodologies and technologies, and create hybrid art forms to bring my ideas to life."

Jordan Delmonte
Price: £78
"Gatlinburg. Tennessee (USA)." 2024
Jordan Delmonte is a traveling landscape photographer based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He has spent the last 5 years traversing North America and Europe in search of stunning landscapes, seascapes, and waterfalls. A technical approach accented by a creative eye allows his work to stand apart from other photographers.
Strong foregrounds, vivid colors, and unique compositions lead to photographs that give viewers a vastly different perspective on familiar scenes. Jordan often employs the use of long exposure techniques that allow for his photographs to exhibit traits of oil paintings.
Most images in his gallery are photographed using wide angle lenses to enhance the feeling of expanse in the work. All prints and design work are created by Jordan in his home studio.
Having lived in the midwestern US for 7 years, Jordan recently opted to make the move to northern Appalachia in effort to be closer to a wider variety of landscapes.
Being out in nature remains fundamental to Jordan’s work. With the natural world constantly changing, he feels it’s more important than ever to capture moments as societal progression continues to have a negative impact on the environment.
